Which inexpensive point-and-shoot digital camera? (1 Viewer)

A friend of mine is looking for an inexpensive ($100-$140) digital camera for general use, preferably one that is easy to use and understand. I'm thinking that something like 4-5 MP with 3x zoom would be good for him. He was considering an Olympus FE-110, but some people complain that it eats batteries.
What are the best options out there?
