Coast bird ID HELP :] (good ones) - Gulf Coast, MS, USA (1 Viewer)

The first ones are some kind of pelican, I want to say Brown Pelican... but if some off chance its not, I wanted to make sure.

The next ones are some kind of goose. Maybe a duck? I don't know, its really pretty. It let me get up close to it and everything.

The 3rd one was on a pier and I think its some sort of crane. It was crazy looking, I really want to know what it is. The sun was going down pretty far by the time I spotted it. Any help would be awesome.

These were taking today on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.

I agree with those IDs, i.e., Brown Pelican, Canada Goose, Canada Goose, Great Blue Heron, and Great Blue Heron.

What could be interesting would be to find out if the Canada Goose was a Lesser, which it probably isn't. Most likely the Common Canada Goose.

Nope, the bill is far too long and large on the Canada for it to be anything other then the normal Canada Goose.

Good note for Lauren's project, but most likely to be a fruitless search - even with her best efforts.
