The Spotting scope I got new on Amazon for $101 and the sports camera on closeout for $30. The Lightdow sports camera is a knockoff of the GoPro. It can record in interpolated 4K and has a 4/1 digital zoom.
I initially set it up using one of those bulky universal adapters which are fastened over the eyepiece. I actually had to ream it out a bit as it would not open wide enough over the Celstron eyepiece. I have since made my own adapter which has a holder fanstened to a T-Adapter. The eyepiece of the Celestron has threads which accomodate a T-Ring.
Here are a few links to some videos I was able to get. The Celestron zooms from 20-60x. I like to keep below 40x and not use digital zoom on camera past 3x. I have even been able to get some acceptable pictures from still frames from my videos using VLC player.
