I don't speak Norwegian, but I think a rough translation of the TS-611 review would be:AC/DC said:thanks, but even the free translation cant translate it. cheers anyway.
Optics improved about 2000. Tested 2001. Polycarbonate body makes it light. Not waterproof. Compact, light telescope with good optics. Good value. Of the original TS-611 eyepieces, the 27xW is best. Both 27xW and the 20-60 zoom eyepiece have short eye relief (exhausting on the eyes and gives a restricted FOV with glasses). Both eyepieces of this scope have reduced edge sharpness. Also there are a lot of good eyepieces for TS-661 and TSN77 available. These improve the FOV for glasses and are recommended in place of those we have tested. Recommended accessory: Skua stay-on case.
Accuracy not guaranteed.
For sharpness, contrast, brightness, edge sharpness and use with glasses it scores 9- 9- 7- 7 8 (with 27xW). For build quality the scope gets 9, the 27xW 12. All scores out of 12.
