I saw both an American Bittern and Sandhill Cranes last Thursday. I have pictures from my trip where I actually had 9 new Lifers. Broken down on my blog:

I though that I might be able to add two "lifers" on a recent trip up to the Duluth, Minnesota area; Boreal Owl (aka. Tengmalm's Owl) and Bohemian Waxwing (something of a nemesis bird for me). There were no Bohemian Waxwings to be found. A Boreal Owl was seen by a few birders up there, but alas I was not one of the fortunate ones to see it!
So, no "lifers" to add at this time.

Thanks, Larry. It turns out that I actually saw another lifer that day. Some Fulvous Whistling Ducks. I appreciate your comments on my blog.
