Hello from North West UK (1 Viewer)

Hello all, i am a jobless 19 year old who wouldn't describe myself as a birder but does enjoy watching the odd bird or two and was into it quite heavily when i was younger due to the influence from my nature fanatic father. However since i have nothing to do till uni in the spring i thought i may as well get out there soak in the sceneray (since i live right next to moorland named Rivington it's accessable) and maybe add a few birds to my life list and recapture the beauty of the birds i have already seen and i hope some of you will be able to point me in the right direction.

Hi Matt and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum.

We're glad you found us and thanks for taking a moment to say hello. I think you'll find lots of friendly, helpful advice here ;)
