blue-ish birds in Minnespolis's Lake Harriet area

I didn't put this in the bird ID forum because I know there is no hope of ID'ing the little possibly bluish dude I espied a block away from the western shore of Lake Harriet in Minneapolis USA late this afternoon. Despite nearby lakeage, it's actually a fairly built-up residential neighborhood. The little fella, whom I saw for less than two seconds before it flew up to an eave, might have had a blue back and bluish wings with hints of brown on the edges; that makes me suspect Eastern Bluebird or maybe Indigo Bunting. Are either of those likely sightings in that area?

Barn Swallow (which often build their nests under eaves)?

Hey cool, I didn't know about Barn Swallows!!

However, this wasn't it; not nearly as deep blue.

I am becoming more convinced that I saw an Eastern Bluebird. My first!
