Seeking (suggestions for) bird sounds/songs for an animated film project (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I'm working on a short animated film that uses a lot of nature and human body motifs. Like a weird little nature mockumentary where all the environments, plants, animals look a little alien, weird, and anthropomorphized.

I'm searching for bird sounds/songs that match each little section of the film.
The only thing that matters is what mood the bird sounds evoke.

I'm looking for these distinct kinds of bird sounds:

- sweet and chirpy, on the softer side
- creepy and low (foreboding/ominous)
- rhythmic and deliberate, slow or fast
- shrill/anxious/fast
- soothing and/or "spacious", maybe melodic

If anyone has insect sound suggestions, that would be cool too.

Any leads will be appreciated! Thanks!

Pretty subjective

Goldfinch, linnet
bittern, heron, barn owl
cuckoo, hoopoe, grasshopper warbler
serin, sedge warbler
black throated diver (loon)

Try out the xeno-canto website of bird recordings too.
