Beetle/Ladybird (1 Viewer)

THE WANDERER

Well-known member
Is anyone able to put a name to this beetle. It was no more than 3mm and swept from shrubs on a chalk hill in Hampshire. I was thinking one of the inconspicuous ladybirds but can't find a perfect match in the new guide.

Don't know what this is but it is no ladybird, for sure. There are no subfamilies in Coccinellidae that can look like this.
