very interesting review,

The EDG scopes are excellent (especially with fixed mag eyepieces)
the down side is the size and weight of this beast…

It would be nice to see a review of the Nikon Monarch Fieldscopes
when they arrive! i think they will be even better for use with SLR.

release date seem a bit uncertain for the Monarch scopes,
it's been a year now since the first press release…:-C

did you get this info from Nikon?
