Ichneumon ID help (1 Viewer)

Hi

I usually find wasps difficult if not impossible to identify to species level. However I came across these two wasps in September at Dawlish Warren NNR Devon .

They looked distinctive enough to give it a go. The black and yellow wasp seen on 3rd September may be Dusona Falcator, the black and red wasp with “white socks” possibly Polytribax Arrogans. Both are described as rare, hence my caution.

Any help or confirmation of ID appreciated.

Many thanks

Alan
