Reverse prime lens + HD Video (1 Viewer)

Matt Prince

Sharkbait
Hi,

I've seen that some surprisingly good results can be achieved with a reversed prime lens attached to the front of a cheap compact digital camera (albeit with minimal Depth of Field) and was wondering if anyone has tried this with video? In theory it should work the same way (and possibly side step the Depth of Field issue - as its intended primarily for getting id features on small beasts and I can slowly shift the focus plane)

Presumably to try it out all I need to do is borrow the wifes 35mm Nikkor and get the appropriate step rings?

Regards,
Matt
