Canon Powershot GX3 (1 Viewer)

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 (with 1" 20.1MP sensor & 25-400mm equivalent zoom) has attracted much comment and some enthusiasm here. The one repeated disappointment seems to be the relatively low upper zoom range. I'd imagine then, that the promised Canon Powershot GX3 which has a 20 MP 1" sensor but, perhaps crucially, zoom with a significantly longer reach (24-600mm zoom) should cause some interest. However it doesn't seem to have a built in EVF which must be a drawback (although you may be able to fit an attachable one to fit or, perhaps, the promised Olympus red-dot sight (it evidently has its own power source so works with any camera)
