Juvenile Gull or ? Lunt UK (today) (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Forgot to upload this.

Is this a juvenile Gull?

I think the head looks a bit small and makes the body look too big for it.

It was by itself and acting a bit like a Wader so it confused me - but that doesn't take much ;)

So juvenile Gull (and which one if so) or not?

thanks

Check out juvenile Black headed. If you don't already own it, you can pick up the Collins guide for about £10 which will give you the reward of ID'ing your own birds, essential for anybody new to the hobby.

Agree with juv. Black-headed Gull and also that the Collin's is a must for all of us ;) - though I know plenty who have it and still get confused, so don't worry, your not alone!

Cheers guys - yes, I already own the Collins (one of the first things I did after coming on here), but Gulls man! I mean... Gulls! Do my blimmin' 'ead in ha ha ;)
