The Worlds Largest Snake: Thursday 3/5/2012 CH4 20.00pm-21.00pm (1 Viewer)

I really enjoyed this programme last night and the special effects where truely mind-boggling.

Scary to think if the snakes where as big as they where so long ago - one snake the same size as 12 adults standing in a row. :eek!:

I have to say, I would have not liked to be the people getting entangled in any dealings with snakes, and yes, snakes like to bite flesh, as well as poison big time :eek!:

Even other reptiles where considered larger than they are these days - may as well otherwise humans would be on their menu.

I enjoyed the programme and the animations (though if Titanoboa was as unwieldy out of water as they suggested, how could it be as athletic in the trees as depicted?) There were some unexplained assumptions and a couple of clearly unwarranted assertions, but by and large it was good science well presented.

Fun. More please.
