Tundra Swans ? (1 Viewer)

There has been some debate as to whether these are infact Tundara Swans ..

For the past 3 or 4 years, here in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan , Canada. A pair of Swans has nested on a small lake right behind a Potash Mine facility and successfully bred there . The just had 6 cygnets only last week.
The crazy thing is, these Swans should not be here !!

Are these Tundras or Trumpeters ? The Yellow would indicate Tundra , but even so , don't these birds breed waaay North.

Hi Dave- yeah, the Yellow patch is pretty much conclusive. Thankyou sir.
It's just one of those crazy things, that these birds decide to nest here at this time of year :)
