New Nikon Coolpix P330 (1 Viewer)

Adobe have updated their Raw converter for the P330. Here is one I converted this morning and saved some highlights and shadows in this difficult exposure situation.

I have been using the P330 regularly with the Sony RX100 ( my V1 has died). It comes into it's own when you have feeding birds darting around the mudflats eg red-necked stints,Tereks and Tatlers. It's AF does the best job of keeping up and locking focus reliably.
Here are a few recent one.

DxOMark just scored the P330 sensor with a composite score of 54, equal to the V1. They conclude:

"The Coolpix P330 is a better performing camera than the P7700, and better than the Nikon 1 V2. And yet it is the cheapest. If you are looking for a good compact camera for everyday use then, unless you have a specific need for interchangeable lenses or are desperate for a longer zoom range, the Nikon Coolpix P330 is a really excellent way to spend your money."

Of course, this is just the sensor only and does not take into account the V1's EVF and superior AF. Moreover the V1 lens kit is about $100 cheaper in Japan now! On the otherhand, with its auto zoom lens the P330 is probably more digisco friendly.
