Hello,

I'm searching for a new compact camera for digiscoping with the old ATS 80 HD with a 20-60 zoom oculair.
I used before the Canon Powerschot S100 since 2012.

Wich are at this moment the best compact cameras for digiscoping for taking pictures but also for making movies?

Thanks,

Sneeuwuil

The Panasonic GH4 is the reigning camera for digiscoping / video. Its 4K video quality is about the best there is for even DSLR shooting. Others to consider are the Panasonic GX8, and the new Sony Alpha a6300. Older cameras like the Nikon 1 V series are good digiscoping cameras with video capabilities, but not 4K. The Sony RX100 IV does have 4K and is an excellent camera, as well. All should work w/ your system.
