I got a nice bonus at work and feel like investing in a scope. I know the Kowa is excellent, but I was wondering if it's likely to be cheaper in the run up to Black Friday. Do companies offer you a discount if you agree to pay it all off up front?

Answers to your questions, no not likely and haha you're having a laugh. You might be able to haggle on a used one though.

At least if you buy now you're insulated from future price rises. But if you wait eventually Kowa must bring out a new model and then there might be some reductions to clear old stock.

I think you might find there are discounts. Have a look at Uttings - I am sure they were offering "Black Friday" discounts last year.
