when im out birdwatching i often snap a few flowers any find them later on but a bit of a mystery with this one ?
Is there a site for identifying plants by pics rather than names.

It's a type of Cranesbill, perhaps Dusky Cranesbill?

I don't know of a website for ID-ing plants by picture though, sorry.

i think it is a Dusky Cranesbill i looked at images on the net they look pretty close thanks for your quick reply.

Agree with pic being dusky cranesbill.

It looks almost right for Dusky Cranesbill, the problem is that there are so many garden plants that have escaped. It's also a good idea to photograph the leaves as well, as many plants are more easily identified by them than the flowers alone.
