Drumming Sniper
You'm not from 'round 'ere, boy!
The title says it all, really.
On Monday I posted my APO-Televid 62 off to Leica in Milton Keynes. The 'scope had sustained damage to the lens hood and the objective coatings so I included a covering letter asking Leica to quote for the necessary repairs.
Yesterday I received a letter confirming that the 'scope had arrived in Milton Keynes and this morning I received an email informing me that the repairs had been carried out free of charge (under Leica's new goodwill policy) and that it was on its way back to me.
The 'scope arrived twenty minutes ago and looks as good as new. The lens hood has been replaced and the objective looks new, too. Undoubtedly the best customer service I've ever received from any company.
Thanks, Leica!
DS
