cork :mid-December ideas pls (1 Viewer)

Hiya

We will be in Cork for the work of Madame from the 12th till the 15th

should be free from noonish on the Friday so will will at least 11/2 days and the weather will be great !

Herself is somewhat French and has never been so far south before
She takes photos and appreciates being sheltered from the wind at least some of the time

Any ideas please
the obvious, to me at least, seems to be Skibbereen and Cape Clear weather permitting
but the French seem obsessed with Tralee

and do Air Lingus let you take spotting scopes and tripods as cabin baggage
thanks in advance
Vincent
