Great Green Macaw in Manzanillo, Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

I'll be staying a couple days in Manzanillo, Costa Rica (south of Limon) for several days and I would like to see some Great Green Macaws. I noticed there's this Ara Manzanillo place where they say you can see them flying in the wild, but it's not clear to me if these are "countable" or if they're somehow just recently released or something. Anyone have any experience with the location?

Having them hidden on eBird makes it tricky to know exactly where the best places are to see them.

Pretty easy at Laguna del Lagarto now, the population seems to have recovered well, we even saw a couple at La Selva.

Another place

We saw them from the Maquenque Eco Lodge. It is a fairly new reserve located just north of Boca Tapada, San Carlos and offers easy access to the newly created Maquenque National Wildlife Refuge where we also saw the birds.
