Rebuild for birds! (1 Viewer)

Thanks for this, Andy. Hopefully more cities will catch on to this, as well as residential homes.

So far, I've only found one window-killed bird at my house. Ironically, this American Robin wasn't killed by the house, but on the window of a parked car! I think my low numbers are for a few reasons. First, many of our windows have a screen on half of the surface. Second, there are no windows facing SW or NE, the path that many birds take over the house. Third, I imagine I've missed a few to scavengers before daylight, in addition to not checking frequently.

I was really glad to see many raptor silhouettes on the glass sound barriers on a highway in Greece last May.

The issue is really not that expensive to fix. I think it mostly needs more awareness.

Thanks again for posting this.
