Is this a pee Wee, or empid, or ? If you know which one, that would be great. I think I will see it again, what should I look for to id it?

Thought I saw some spectacles, seems to have a yellow bill, at least somewhat

at first glance i saw a pewee - very long-winged looking and long attenuated shape, and slightly peaked head. Also doesn't look big-headed in the way most empids do, but if you saw a strong eyering that points to empid. Ive seen pewees in molt that do very good empid impressions ;) But regardless its almost impossible to ID an empid off a photo, depending on where you saw it.

Peaked crown, long wings and a "shortish" looking tail ( from the tip of the wing to the tip of the tail ) are right for Pewee. Long winged Empids always seem long tailed, in comparison, to me.
