White-winged Scoters?

I will be visiting St Augustine for 2 days in early February and am hoping to see and photograph them as its the last Scoter species to see.
I am wondering if there is any reliable sites around the area that I can get close to them?
I have heard that the Salt run is a good area for them.
Any help would be much appreciated :)

Florida is not the best destination to see scoters as none are common here -- nothing like what you see further up the east coast of the USA, anyways. We are just too far south. White-winged Scoter is by far the rarest of the three that regularly occur here (I have only seen it once in the state, which involved an 8-hr round trip chase).

I just checked eBird, and the most southerly sightings so far this winter have been from South Carolina. I would recommend keeping up to date with the latest sightings on eBird and hope one shows up during your stay.
