Red Phalarope - 9 Mile Bank, San Diego County. California USA.
Rufous-Crowned Sparrow - Palos Verdes, Los Angeles County. California USA.
 
Depends what you count.
Latest three new species are barred owl, black vulture and white-eyed vireo
but since then I've been checking some taxonomic changes and have 'ticked'
Australian swiftlet
Indian blackbird
Indian golden oriole!
 
Black winged Stilt (Gwent wetlands), Two-barred Crossbill (forest of Dean), red-flanked bluetail (Marshfield but Glos not Gwent).

Up to UK list 295, 41 years and still not made 300Uk.
 
Last three are my only ones so far this year. They were all seen unexpectedly (I wasn't out birding) and locally.
