Please help me ID this hawk, Missouri, USA (1 Viewer)

Could someone help me identify this hawk? I believe it is one of the Red-Tailed Hawks but looking in my bird books I can not match up the white eye, yellow legs, undertail coloring and bands.

Thank you

Dickie Byrd

I think your bird is a Red-tailed Hawk, possibly the "Harlan's" race. (A bird which has not gotten the dark eye of a fully mature bird.)

Thank you Larry. I appreciate the assistance. I sort of leaned toward the Harlan's Hawk, but my bird looked a lot darker than what I could find in any of my books. They all showed some white on the breast.
