I will be make another one of my occasional visits to St Louis in early June. Can any MO birders advise whether

1) any migrants will still be around (especially warblers); and

2) if so, anywhere other than Tower Grove Park (which I know about and will try to visit) that is recommended for finding them.

I will be based in Webster Groves.

Cheers

Michael

Well, the childminding that we were there to do was more labour intensive than I anticipated but I took a sneaky trip to Shaw Nature Reserve one morning (mainly as I had been before and wanted to compare the seasons). It was very hot so I took it pretty steady but saw enough to make the trip worthwhile to a UK birder - loads of indigo bunting and common yellowthroat plus blue gray gnatcatcher and yellow breasted chat were my personal highlights.

I am going to try to plan a migrant hunting couple of weeks in St Louis in a year or two.
