Seal ID, Newcomb Hollow Beach, Cape Cod (1 Viewer)

I thought that these were grey harbour seals from afar, but up close, I saw that they have flaring nostrils and long boney snouts. They were in the sea about 15 meters from the shore in Wellfleet, Massachusetts. Could they be horse head seals? Or what?

horsehead seal = old name for Gray Seal, which I don't think is used anymore (very appropriate though if you have ever seen the skull of an adult male)

Gray Seals are a different species from Harbor Seal.
