walking from Harlow Carr gardens through the woods back to Harrogate on Friday afternoon (very hot), spotted this owl in a hollow in an ash tree on the edge of the woods, no binoculars and this phone photo is the best I have, my guess is a long eared owl ... any thoughts on what it might be?
