Wheater or Shrike? Occitaine, France May 2019 (1 Viewer)

Excuse my ignorance, but the best I could do was narrow this down to a (Northern) Wheatear or a Grey Shrike. But neither of these have the marking (bib) seen on the chest in the first photo. Perhaps that is a shadow? As acknowledged in an earlier post today, the quality of photos is low.

More specific location: Aveyron Department just before Aumont-Aubrac.

Thanks in advance, Brenda

Agree with wheatear. I've never seen a shrike perch on a flat surface like that. They're almost exclusively on wires or branches.

I've seen (for example) Red-backed Shrikes perch on fence posts, and Iberian Grey Shrike on a stone wall. But the posture tends to be different.
