Ridiculous! What next, not allowed to breathe air because the water vapour in it already belongs to someone else??

Hope common sense will prevail eventually.

I'm really surprised she decided to apply for the right in the first place instead of just doing it. Very strange.

I can't imagine that anyone would have questioned it if she had just done it, instead of asking for permission first. There is really just too much bureaucratic red tape in our legal system.

That just shows how lucky we are in the UK not to have the rain water charges hanging over our heads.

In the mentioned country, it gives the impression that the goverment is wanting money for doing nothing at all. They do no work except taking money from hard working people in their own country.

Just pure greed!! :C

Rain water is free to all people, and no one has the right to charge anyone at all. Cannot understand why this situation is allowed to continue in any shape or form.

It is a scandal! :C

Hi Kathy Rainwater is free in the UK, but not after it arrives in a reservior, then the water companies charge you for it. Even banning use of various facilities when the rains dont fill the reserviors to their satisfaction.
