Now open, the Reserve is mostly in Warwickshire and regarding other vice County biological recording is nearly entirely in Warwickshire, Dosthill being formly in Warwickshire but now in the modern extended County of Staffordshire.
The RSPB shortly will be putting up a feeding station near the free carpark at Middleton Hall, which should attract Willoow Tit and on occasion my attract Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. The feeding station Close to pools should attract Reed Bunting and this year Yellowhammer has been present in this area.

Regards, John

The old conveyer Bridge between Fisher's mill and Dosthill was removed by Hanson's contracters yesterday at SP20302 98704. So the only way to get to the Dosthill side at the moment is by road.
However Warwickshire County Council have a legal obligation to convey the footpath.

Regards, John

The RSPB are fundraising for the DBP North pit hide, toilets and more education facilities near the carpark.
If funds are available the DBP North pit hide would go up in Autumn.
