Montagu´s or Pallid Harrier, Tirol/Austria, May 17th 2020

Really unsure about this Harrier I saw last Sunday, and I´ve heard all opinions from friends without a clear consensus - Montagu´s to Pallid to hybrid. Montagu´s is a very rare migrant in Tirol, Pallid would of course be exceptional. Would really appreciate the input of the experts here. Thanks in advance.

2cy (female) montagu's harrier for me. juvenile secondaries are very dark in most pygargus.

Agree, facial pattern all wrong for Pallid, dark fingers better for Monty

I agree Monty's - only answering to highlight the attached link is a very useful summary published on the UAE birding pages for separating Monty's from Pallid
