Olive/rufous bird, strong bill. Yucatan, Mexico (1 Viewer)

Saw quite a few of these birds, always in pairs or small flocks actively scrambling around in thick bush/trees. Allover olive/rufous color, though in flight brighter rufous/yellow tones appeared. Bill appears fairly stout, dark, and with a slight hook at the tip (slightly like a cuckoo or shrike... maybe tanager?). Big dark eye surrounded by yellow skin. Throat yellower. Legs and feet appear pale.

I feel I should be able to figure them out but am only familiar with European birds, so I'm lost here.
