What are these starlings up to? (1 Viewer)

It looks like two starlings are visiting a nestbox in our backyard. It was put up in the hope that woodpeckers would nest in it. A house sparrow couple built two nests in it a few summers ago (one on top of the other).
The starlings can be seen going to a nearby feeder, grabbing a bite, and then returning to the nestbox. One just hangs out (literally), looking around the yard.
Are they just winter roosting, or are they planning on raising a family?
Is one bringing food for the other?
