a day or 2 ago,It was around 7:00pm and suddenly,probaly ten birds started feeding above me.They looked like giant swifts,but I figured out they were Common nighthawks.That was a great first sighting!

Hi Kelly,

I know what that's like! Just last week, we had our best sighting ever of common nighthawks, when about 5 DOZEN of them flew over. My neighbours are my witnesses to this.

I spot a lot of nighthawks at night baseball games. All the bugs attracted to the floodlights bring in the nighthawks.
