vintage prominar 7x35 wide angle (1 Viewer)

Good afternoon

does anyone own this amazing vintage binoculars?
Impressions? Is it possibile to buy it in the second hands market?

thanks

Francesco

Hi Francesco,
I am sure one could buy this binocular.
Look at auction sites.

However, looking at photos I note that the eyepieces are small and single coated.
Maybe only 3 element eyepieces.
If so I expect a lot of pincushion distortion, curved field and small eye relief.
But I don't know as I haven't looked through one.

It may or may not be made by Kowa. Possibly made by another Japanese maker.
It may be that the true field is 9 degrees, not 10 degrees.

And 10 degrees is not very wide for a 7x35 binocular.

It may be very high quality, maybe not.

Regards,
B.
