Various Birds - Maasai Mara NR, Kenya

All birds seen in July 2020:

1) Goshawk or sparrowhawk, perhaps. Guide we were with guessed Ovambo Sparrowhark, but it seems others may fit as well.

2 & 3) Francolin of some kind, I believe, but having trouble honing in on which one.

4) Female bustard - Hartlaub's or Black-Bellied?

Your help would be much appreciated.

I think Ovambo is correct for 1, white dashes in tail feather centres is a feature I think.

I think 2 is a female Coqui Francolin.

The Bustard seems to have a 'vermiculated' hind neck making this a Black-bellied. Although it's not mentioned in the book as a separating feature, Hartlaub's is also shown with a noticeably paler eye than Black-bellied which also fits this bird.

agreed

Ovambo is also described as broad-shouldered and small headed
2 more features of Blackbellied are extensive black centers on back and barred tertials
