Just bought one of these Manfrotto 144BIRD+128RC head in mint condition on ebay for £62, anyone think this was a good purchase ? or uses and likes this combination ?

Hi,
Yes It is a very good tripod and stable
128RC is oen of the best fuid head on the market
the only restriction, it is a bit heavier than new ones.
You've made a good acquisition!
(I have a 144B + 128RC)
