Looking for someone to show me the ropes in the Tacoma area. Still very knew and would love someone local to pick their brain.

I hope you found the Tahoma Audubon Society — very nice folks who do group birding at least three times a month (Swan Creek Park, Ft. Steilacoom Park, and Eagle's Pride Golf Course). Tahoma Audubon Society. Also, if you're willing to drive to Nisqually or Olympia, the Black Hills Audubon group is also nice and do regular outings as well. It's the best way to learn. Been going with these groups for a few years and I'm still a beginner.

Feel free to hit me up to if you want to go bird — I live very near Swan Creek Park.
