Hi all, I'm looking to recruit more players for a friendly team competition that is entering its 2nd chapter. The idea behind the Yard Squad Challenge is that each participant:
1) signs up to be placed in an international team of birders;
2) picks a limited area near his/her home to bird;
3) submits his/her observations to eBird, and shares his/her checklists with his/her team's group account;
4) works with his/her team toward building the best combined list!
We're starting our Fall 2020 version in a few weeks, and this time you're allowed up to a 5-mile radius. As any of the ~100 spring participants can tell you, it's a really fun way to get to know your neighborhood a little better and make some friends from around the world. Birders of all stripes, skill levels, etc. are all welcome! (And if you're from anywhere outside the USA, rest assured that your birds will be VERY in demand.) Sign up here by August 17:

Thanks!
