How Is Your 2016 List Going? (1 Viewer)

191 for the UK so far

Limited UK birding this month and the UK total hasn't budged, but my non-birding holidays moved the year list on a bit.

192 Alpine chough, from a train in Switzerland
193 Hooded crow, Rome
194 Italian sparrow, Rome
195 Purple heron, from a train near Milan

Another couple of entries for the short list of species on the UK list I've only seen outside the UK.

Also added one to my odonata list, with a large number of violet dropwings at a park in Rome.

I am off to a good start. I saw two target species at Horicon marsh in Wisconsin. A whooping Crane, and a Black necked stilt, which I am told has started a breeding population in Wisconsin.

A weekend in back in September:
296. Black-chinned Hummingbird
297. Bell's Sparrow
298. Vaux's Swift

P.S. This is my 5000th post on BF. Good to be with you guys for them all!
