Gulls, waders and egret, Andalucia Dec. 2013 - Part 5 (1 Viewer)

Here comes couple of bird pictures more. These are photographed in Huelva, except egrets in beach called Cuesta de Maneli. My thoughts are:

#1 Black-headed Gulls, 1st winter and adult
#2 Same young bird than first photo
#3 Heavily cropped photo where might be 2 Ringed Plovers and in a middle of them Common Greenshank?
#4 Even more cropped photo. Bird looks otherwise good for Greenshank with pale legs and overall coloration, but the beak seems to curved down?
#5 Great - or Little Egrets? There was 5 of them flying to west just before sunset.

PS. I have to ask couple of mammals and insects too. Can I put those here or do you think those are better to put on their own sections?

Ok, thank you both.

Maybe it's better put mammal and insect ID-problems under they own sub-forums. So if you know something on beetles, butterflies, bats and deers, please look there...

Agree with KGS: Little egrets. apart from the features he mentionned you can the birds lack an obvious neck buldge. And the jizz is very much in favour of Little over Great white egret: the birds appear squat (vs the slenderer GWE).

Compared to this Great Egret the leg length is similar, but the bill appears slightly longer, but not much. As for the obvious neck bulge, its not that different from the op's Egrets. But with a bit more sharpness in the photo, the op would have probably got the correct id.
