Oriental Cuckoo in Finland (1 Viewer)

Last Sunday (14.6.) Finish birder Jyrki Lukkari recorded wierd sounding bird in Sotkamo, Finland. It was a Oriental Cuckoo (Cuculus optatus). Here´s an other recording for that bird from Finnish Broadcasting Corporation's website: http://yle.fi/uutiset/talta_kuulostaa_idan_ihmekaki/8080272?ref=leiki-uu

Cuckoo is still on it place at Sotkamos Teerivaara.

The cuckoo stopped it's singing sometime during the early July amd has not been observed after that, so don't bother thinking of going there anymore..
