Identify these bins please (1 Viewer)

Can anyone identify the make and model of these binoculars used by Jane Goodall, the English naturalist? The photo was taken c. 1960 when she was studying chimpanzees in Tanzania at age 26. More info on Jane Goodall here https://www.thextraordinary.org/jane-goodall#biography

Let's try 6x30 M. Hensoldt, Wetzlar from about 1950. I don't see the taper at the ocular end. However, the objective caps, the oculars, and the large focus wheel fit the bill. :cat:

I'm inclined to agree with Bill that this looks more like a Hensoldt 6/8x30 than a 6/7x42. The straight objective barrels, shorter than the prism housing, don't seem to match the longer tapered barrels, about equal to the length of the prism housing, on the 42mm models.
