Horned Lark.. (1 Viewer)

Hi guys n gals ,

I just wanted to post this Horned Lark photo here and try to find out what race or variant it is. It lacks the 'horns', is very pale and doesn't have the prominent dark breastband. Taken in Saskatchewan, Canada this morning.

My guess is that this is a female. According to Sibley all the females are similar, are paler, lack "horns", and have a paler breastband, which is visible on your bird at the just below the throat.
