Red filter anyone? (1 Viewer)

Hi everybody,

I have a one million candle power rechargeable hand held spotlight that I use when batting. I'd like to be able to fit a red filter to it but can't get a purpose made one. I had thought about cutting a piece of red acetate and placing it over the lens but I'm worried that the heat generated by the lamp will melt it or set it on fire.

Anybody have any thoughts or ideas? Or does anybody know where I could get some coloured perspex that I could cut and make a new lens?

Thanks

Derek
