Fixed eyepiece for Celestron Regal M2 80ED (3 Viewers)

Thanks for all your help. It did look similar in visual use. They gave me an RMA and I'm going to send it back for replacement.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for my late feedback.

I only used it 3 or 4 times, and I'm using it only for birding. It's a very good match, and the Baader MARK IV zoom is a great upgrade: sharper and has better contrast too. I can’t compare with another zoom EP (it’s my first one), but zooming is easy, and no problem to reach infinity, but I couldn’t say about # of ring past infinity (few clear skies here during winter: living in front of a ski resort).

It’s not as good as expected on cloudy days. Probably I’m spoiled because of the quality of my camera lenses o:D !

I didn't want to pay for alpha one, for I replaced my camera and lenses recently ($$$). But because I don't think I'll use it regularly (I'm always bringing my camera with me), I might sell it and maybe buy and alpha one later (Nikon).

But it's a very good combination for the price :t:

Chris
